Prenatal Yoga
Connect as you transform
- Yoga means to unite, to yolk - Pregnancy is the embodiment of yoga, a joining of two (or in my case 3) souls in one generous body. I believe your prenatal yoga practice should:
- Respect the inner warrior of you - a time to find physical, mental and emotional strength on this journey to motherhood
- Allow time for your body to open and release areas of tension and tightness so your body and your baby can enjoy more space
- Give you permission to find ease through breath and movement and be ok with taking rest
- Free your mind of distractions and give priority to this incredible moment of growing life within you. A time to lovingly accept every stage of your body during pregnancy.
Remember to honour your body, rest when tired and learn to trust your maternal instincts. If at anytime something doesn’t feel right for your body and your baby don’t do the pose - take rest in child’s pose instead.
